The University of California, Merced is a dynamic new university campus in Merced, California, which opened in September 2005 as the tenth campus of the University of California and the first American research university in the 21st century. The School of Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts seeks to establish a pool of artists for non-tenure-track Lecturer positions in the areas of music and visual arts for Fall 2013 and Spring 2014. The hiring priority will be given to candidates who incorporate global perspectives, innovative pedagogies, and and creative use of digital technologies into their work and teaching.
