The University of California, Merced is a dynamic new university campus in Merced, California, which opened in September 2005 as the tenth campus of the University of California and the first American research university in the 21st century. The School of Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts seeks a Lecturer to teach courses in History for Fall 2013 and Spring 2014. Courses being offered may include: Topics in World History; History of Decolonization in the 20th Century; History of California; Migration and Immigration; US Foreign Relations since 1776; History of American Capitalism; Intro to World History Since 1500; and Twentieth-Century America.
