The Department of Sport Management and Media is developing a pool of qualified part-time lecturers for anticipated openings during the summer, fall and spring of the 2013-14 academic year.
Lecturers may be needed to teach various courses in Sport Management and Media including but not limited to: Introduction to Sport Management, Contemporary Issues in Sport Management, History of Sport, Social Aspects of Sport, Seminar in Legal and Ethical Issues, Gender Issues in Sport, Labor Relations in Sport, Sport Marketing, Sport Publications, Sport Economics, Sport Media Production, Sport Event and Facility Management and Sport Policy.
Applicants are required to hold a master’s degree; J.D., Ph.D., and college teaching experience preferred. A bachelor’s degree and professional experience will be considered for some disciplines.
