The Department of Economics and Accounting at the College of the Holy Cross invites applications for a full-time tenure-track appointment in economics to begin in August 2014. While applications will be considered from candidates in any field, preference will be given to those with strong teaching interests in statistics and econometrics, and whose research interests emphasize applications in macroeconomic fields including development and international economics.
Candidates must demonstrate commitment to, and excellence in, undergraduate teaching as well as scholarly achievement. Ph.D. or anticipated completion by August 2014 is required. This position carries a 3-2 teaching load with a full-salary one-semester research leave prior to tenure review and generous sabbatical and fellowship leaves for tenured faculty.
