The Minnesota State University Moorhead College of Arts,Media and Communication invites applications for the following adjunct faculty positions for the Fall 2014 semester. All positions are pending funding. Appointment would be for one semester ,beginning August 19 ,2014 and ending December 19, 2014. Unless otherwise noted, each position requires a minimum of a Master's degree, specialized licensure or other special preparation or experience.
Art & Design: Adjunct positions are available to teach the following courses: Basic Drawing I, Basic Drawing II; Foundation Design I; Introduction to Illustration;and Art History I.
Cinema Arts and Digital Technologies: Adjunct positions are available to teach the following courses: Beginning Computer Graphics, Maya, 3-D Modeling, and Introduction to Multimedia.Communication Studies: Adjunct positions are available to teach the following courses: Public Speaking and Business and Professional Communication.
Mass Communications: Adjunct positions are available to teach the following courses: Introduction to Mass Media, Media Writing, Photography, Documentary Photography, Layout and Typography I, Student Publications, Communication Law, TV News Writing, Social Media Campaigns, Event Planning, Media Planning, Messaging for Mobile Media, Sports and Media, Producing Sports, Broadcast Journalism, Editing PR Copy, and TV News Reporting.
Music: Adjunct positions are available to teach the following: applied lessons, class piano, selected ensembles, and several Teaching Methods courses.
