The primary responsibilities for this position include teaching undergraduate level courses, student advising, and conducting scholarly activities. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, program assessment and service to the department, College and University as needed.

The Department of Social Work and Sociology is a supportive community of committed faculty and practitioners who prepare students to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Degree options include: Bachelor of Sociology, Bachelor of Social Work and Joint Master of Social Work (offered in conjunction with the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.) We are committed to excellence in education by preparing our students to face complex social problems with knowledge of evidenced based practice and creative solutions. We have approximately 100 sociology students, 300 BSW students and 95 JMSW students.
