The Sociology Program, which is part of the Division of Social Work, Behavioral and Political Sciences offering both the Bachelor's and Master's degrees, seeks candidates who are committed to excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching with a demonstrated ability to teach core Sociology courses. The successful candidate's responsibilities include, but are not limited to teaching sections of Sociology courses as assigned for the fall and spring semesters, advising students, and serving on committees. In addition to teaching and service, the candidate is required to demonstrate a sustained interest and active engagement in research and publication.
M.A. in Sociology
One to three years of sociology teaching experience at the college level
Masters/PhD in Sociology.
Preferred Experience Requirements:
One to three years of sociology teaching experience at a college level.
Preferred Licenses/Certifications :
Faculty (including non-tenure positions) – The appointment date for this position will be for September 1, 2017 or after.
