The Marvin D. and June Samuel Brailsford College of Arts and Sciences, Division of Social Work, Behavioral and Political Sciences seeks candidates who are committed to excellence in undergraduate teaching with a demonstrated ability to teach courses in Philiosophy. Primary duties include, but are not limited to, teaching sections of Philosophy courses as assigned each semester and engage in curriculum development; actively engaging in scholarly activities aimed at publication; engaging in student advising and recruitment; grant proposal writing and paper presentations at professional conferences; participating in departmental, college and university committee work.
M.A. in Philosophy
One or more years teaching experience at the college level.
PhD in Philosophy.
Preferred Experience Requirements:
Two or more years of teaching experience at the college level.
Preferred Licenses/Certifications :
Faculty (including non-tenure positions) – The appointment date for this position will be for September 1, 2017 or after.
