The College of Arts & Sciences is seeking applications from qualified candidates for a Lecturer of Criminology and Criminal Justice for the Department of Social Sciences beginning in fall 2019. The College seeks excellence in instruction, research, and service. Teaching responsibilities include teaching the equivalent of four 3 credit hour courses in criminology or criminal justice during fall and spring semesters.Teaching assignments may include day or evening classes. Flexible to suit course schedule. Required Qualifications:

Prior to issuing a letter of appointment, three original letters of recommendation less than one year old and bearing the writer's actual signature, as well as official transcripts from each degree-granting institution must be received directly by the Search Committee Chair: Lecturer-Criminology Faculty Position For questions regarding this position contact Administrative Associate Ms. Nereida Deluna at Nereida.Deluna @tamusa.edu. Finalists will be required to provide three current, original letters of recommendation to the Search Committee Chair at the address above. The letters should be less than one year old and should bear the writer's actual signature. Prior to issuing a letter of appointment, official transcripts must be received directly from each degree-granting institution by the Office of Academic Affairs, A&M-San Antonio, One University Way, San Antonio, Texas 78224. We cannot accept transcripts issued directly to the candidate. If transcripts are from an international institution, it is the responsibility of the prospective faculty member to have the transcripts translated and evaluated by an approved credential evaluator.
