Middle School Latin and English Leave Position The Wardlaw+Hartridge Middle School, located in Edison, New Jersey, seeks a long-term Latin and English leave replacement teacher. The position will begin in early March of 2019 and run thru mid-June 2019. Collegial and engaging educators with experience and interest in the middle grades are encouraged to apply. Commitment to a highly collaborative and diverse community of learners is essential. This position includes sections of seventh grade English, which utilizes an essential question framework and is structured to support rigorous inquiry and writing, as well as sections of Latin using a literature and culture-based approach. Serving as an advisor and weekly debate elective teacher are also responsibilities of this position. Minimum Qualifications: All candidates must demonstrate a commitment to the school’s mission and core values of Integrity, Opportunity, Support, Diversity, Community, and Sustainability. Interest and experience in crafting curricula with a global perspective and framework.
