Watkinson School, offering inventive teaching and learning since 1881, is seeking a full-time history teacher for classes ranging from 7th-10th grade. 

Successful applicants will demonstrate creative approaches to history instruction and a commitment to reaching all students through progressive methodology and a wide variety of questioning techniques. Applicants must possess an enthusiasm for working in a dynamic environment that encourages design of student-centered work. Watkinson teachers must enjoy interacting with a diverse group of students and establish positive relationships with parents, faculty, administration, and staff. In addition to these responsibilities, this position includes academic advising and the potential for coaching a sport or moderating an afternoon activity while fully participating in school life. A bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
