Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Under direction from Director of Global Initiatives, plans and executes a comprehensive communications and content development strategy for the Division of Global Engagement--including web, social media, in person, and in print--to deliver results in target audience participation in programs and increased brand awareness within the campus and international education communities. Research and write a variety of high-quality content showcasing relevant international achievements, events, and campus impact of Global Engagement at UC Santa Cruz; Meet regularly with Divisional leadership to develop and execute organizational communication and branding strategies that advance the goal of establishing Global Engagement as the primary campus resource for international program development, content, and data; Design and implement targeted communications and marketing campaigns promoting international mobility opportunities for students, faculty, and staff as well as international partner institutions. The Division of Global Engagement (GE) advances the University's teaching, research and service mission by working collaboratively throughout the institution to promote global engagement and advance campus internationalization by increasing international mobility among students and faculty, promoting faculty engagement in international activities and developing strategic partnerships abroad. GE interacts with campus leadership on strategic planning and initiatives to elevate the reputation of UCSC globally. GE units include Study Abroad, International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) and Special International Projects and Initiatives.
