Possess an authentic desire and ability to become a true member of the NKU community Primary Responsibilities : The Director of Training and Development is a leadership position reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer and is responsible for the creation and execution of a comprehensive and integrated employee learning strategy. This position will be accountable for designing, developing and managing a learning curriculum including instructional materials, training courses, and multimedia technologies that facilitate the development of the University's employees in support of the overall mission of the University and its strategic framework. This director collaborates with Faculty and Staff leaders, HR partners and employees across campus to determine requirements, design and deliver training, identify and create action plans to address training and development gaps; evaluate current training plans to ensure they are meeting the needs of the university; source appropriate training solutions and develop, administer and track university-wide and job specific compliance training;. In addition, the Director of Training and Development will leverage the knowledge and experience of subject matter experts to achieve desired goals and source appropriate training solutions to meet training and employee development needs.
