Tenure-track position in Higher Education Administration in a rapidly growing program serving diverse communities. The Higher Education Administration program, currently a concentration within the Educational Leadership program, prepares transformational leaders committed to social justice in higher education who work in administrative roles across the postsecondary education landscape. The department will submit a proposal this year for a stand-alone masterâ™s degree in Higher Education Administration. The person hired for this position will play a significant role in shaping how that MA program is implemented. Faculty members are expected to be active scholars; advise students; contribute to accreditation processes; participate in department, college, and university committees; and teach graduate courses in a variety of settings and formats (i.e., traditional face-to-face, hybrid, and online). Additionally, the faculty member in this position will assist in the coordination of the program, including recruitment, admissions, and internship supervision. QUALIFICATIONS: Earned doctorate in Higher Education Administration/Leadership, Student Affairs, Student Personnel, or a closely related field; a well-defined research agenda, evidence of scholarly activities, and success in or potential for high quality peer-reviewed publications and grant-funded projects; demonstrated aptitude for or evidence of excellence in teaching of graduate students and mentoring/advising graduate students and new professionals; demonstrated ability to work with individuals from culturally diverse backgrounds.
