The Department of Sociology/Anthropology within the Dyson College of Arts and Sciences at Pace University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track, Lecturer in Anthropology position to begin September 2020. The position is located on Pace University’s New York City campus.
Applicants should have earned a PhD in Anthropology, with some teaching experience and a research agenda, with an emphasis on urban, national, transnational/global issues, and ethnographic and ethnologic methods. The ideal candidate will have conducted fieldwork outside of the United States and Europe. Teaching responsibilities will include but not be limited to Introduction to Anthropology, Global Culture, Urban Ethnography, Political Anthropology; candidates will also be expected to develop courses related to their areas of expertise.
