 Germanna Community College is a public, open access institution of higher education in the Virginia Community College System with a Fredericksburg Area Campus in Spotsylvania, a Locust Grove Campus, and several off-campus centers. Germanna Community College is seeking an innovative and collaborative individual to join the faculty as an Instructor/Assistant Professor of Computer Science. The primary responsibility of this position is teaching. Faculty hired in this position will be required to teach courses in the transfer and non-transfer areas. Faculty loads are normally scheduled on an average of fifteen (15) credit hours per semester. Office hours, advising and collateral duty assignments are maintained. Teaching schedules may include day and evening classes and multiple campus and off-campus assignments. Opportunities for summer teaching will be based on student interest. This is a full-time nine-month faculty position. Salary is commensurate with rank and credentials plus State benefits. Appointment date: August 16, 2020.
