This position is open to instructors interested in teaching online courses. (See alternative postings for campus adjunct pools). Instructors who demonstrate an interest in and ability to realize the mission, values, and vision of the School are strongly encouraged to apply, particularly those with knowledge of and demonstrated commitment to racial equity and critical, anti-oppressive, and social justice-oriented frameworks. Each academic year, there is a need to hire adjunct faculty to teach. While there is no guarantee that a course you are interested and qualified to teach will be seeking additional instructors, qualified instructors are frequently hired to teach across the curriculum.
Successful applicants must hold a masters degree in a field of study closely related to social work or children, youth, and families (e.g., education, sociology, human development, psychology, youth studies, family studies, social work, early childhood); OR for undergraduate courses a bachelor's degree and demonstrated teaching or practice experience.
