Whitby seeks an experienced, vibrant, and innovative Humanities teacher to join our energetic middle school team (Grades 5-8). Our “Individuals and Societies” classes aim to blend concepts and skills to provide students with engaging opportunities to grow their understanding of societies, past and present. In addition to delivering engaging lessons to students in Grade 5 the candidate will be an advisor to fifth-grade students, meeting with them regularly to help support them through fifth grade.

Holds a college degree in elementary/secondary education, history, or a related field.
Has experience teaching social studies in a middle school or upper elementary setting.
While not essential, IBMYP experience would be a plus.
Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background check.
