Academic Director MBA programmes

The Executive School of Management, Technology & Law is the University of St.Gallen’s platform for post-experience and executive education activities in the field of management, technology, law and social sciences. It offers a broad range of MBA, Executive MBA, Open Enrolment and in-house Custom programmes to board members, CEOs and executive committee members, senior and mid-career managers, as well as high potentials.
You will join the leadership team of the Executive School of Management, Technology and Law. You will act as the Academic Director of our Full-Time and Part-Time MBA programmes; initiate new educational and career development formats; manage a team of 15-20 specialists running the MBA programmes; teach core modules in the MBA and other executive programmes; develop and maintain contacts with corporate clients; and contribute to the University of St.Gallen’s thought leadership in the field of MBA education. The appointment may be at the level of Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor or Full Professor.
You have a proven record of applying high ethical and professional standards. You hold a relevant doctorate from a recognised institution; have a track record of success in programme leadership and in teaching international MBA students; are fluent in English (and ideally German); and have access to a network in academia and/or practice that will support your MBA leadership role.
We are looking for a candidate with an innovative vision of the shape and future of MBA education. This opportunity will suit either a senior academic with a demonstrable interest in professional development who seeks to broaden connections with firms, or a senior practitioner wishing to strengthen on the links between business education and practice.
