Temporary Faculty – Sociology The Department of Criminal Justice, Social Work, and Sociology at Southeast Missouri State University is seeking candidates to teach as part-time dual credit online adjunct sociology instructors starting in the Spring 2021 semester. Dual credit courses are offered through agreements between local area high schools and Southeast Missouri State University. High school juniors or seniors enroll in a distance education online college course and simultaneously earn college credit and high school credit for the course. We are interested in applicants with experience teaching Introduction to Sociology in a dual credit course environment. Experience with Moodle and Canvas is desired, with OSCQR (the Online Course Quality Review Rubric) or QM (Quality Matters) a plus.
