St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Potomac, MD seeks a Marketing Manager to begin immediately.

Position Reporting to the Director of Communications, the Marketing Manager (MM) is a full-time, non-exempt position that will be responsible for digital marketing, market research, analysis, strategy, and coordinating the implementation for all the school’s brand communications, primarily but not exclusively in digital media. The Marketing Manager will be the Communications Office’s primary liaison to the Admission Office and the Center for Transformative Teaching & Learning (the CTTL).
The MM will optimize website content and navigation to achieve enrollment goals, to market the CTTL to educators, and to maintain reputational awareness for the school.
The MM will perform all SEO and SEM work including setting up the site for tagging/tracking and searchability, backlink generation, site keyword analysis and domain ranking, reworking content for existing keyword performance.
The MM will provide website support including front end development for WordPress (building and reorganizing website and new web pages) and manage website security, privacy, cookies, and hosting. The MM will support site performance tagging and measurement (Google analytics, tagging, etc) through WordPress and Blackbaud.
The MM will work with the Communications Office, the Director of Enrollment Management, and CTTL staff to refine strategies for social media posting on digital platforms including Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. The MM will craft and send marketing awareness emails on behalf of the CTTL and provide webinar support.
The MM will assist staff designers with the development of printed materials and with content creation including videography and some light writing.
The MM will investigate and identify future digital innovation projects that can be realized with existing resources.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree, as well as 2-3 years of related work experience, in digital marketing and communications. The candidate should be an excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform all decisions. The candidate will be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress and have a working knowledge of various Content Management Systems and all social media platforms. Knowledge of the independent school market will be an advantage in hiring, as will a highly collaborative work style.
