NYU Shanghai is currently inviting applications for an open rank, non-tenure track contract position in Economics. NYU Shanghai seeks candidates who have completed a PhD in Economics, or a closely-related discipline. Applications are invited from candidates in any field, and NYU Shanghai has a special interest in Applied Econometrics and Microeconomics.

The appointment entails a teaching load of four (4) courses per academic year (typically two courses in each of the Fall and Spring semesters). Contract appointments are effective for three (3) years and eligible for renewal.
