Description SHIFT: PRNSCHEDULE: PRN/Per Diem Hourly Wage Estimate: $31.32 - $40.81/Hour The estimate displayed represents the typical wage range of candidates hired. Here is some of what you can expect from being a Pre-Admissions Testing Registered Nurse with us: · You will serve as primary nurse leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care prior to admission and procedure/surgery. · You will be responsible for obtaining patient history and current medications, ensuring nursing assessment is completed and standard of care initiated. · You will obtain and/or coordinate pre-admission diagnostic testing (EKGs, Labs, CXR, etc.), and analyze pertinent data, communicate findings, and documents information accurately. · You will initiate and document pre-procedure/operative instruction and discharge teaching, involving patient and family/significant other. · You may work telephonically or in-person with the patient.
