The Social Work Program at Plymouth State University invites applications for a full-time, non- tenure track clinical faculty position beginning August 2021. The CSWE-accredited BSW program (reaffirmed until 2023) seeks a dynamic colleague committed to teaching excellence, student development, and service. The programâs mission is to prepare generalist practitioners with the ability to respect human diversity, use a strengths-based approach to practice, and promote social and economic justice. The program has minors in Child Welfare and Family Studies, Aging, and Welfare and Justice for Children and Youth. The program encourages creativity and initiative and provides a strong, supportive environment for growth and development. Clinical Faculty positions are full time, with benefits and the teaching load is 24 credits per year. The candidate will also be expected to advise undergraduate students and provide service to the university.
â¢Masterâs degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program. â¢At least two years post-Masterâs social work practice experience. â¢Clinical Licensure or eligibility for clinical licensure in New Hampshire. â¢An understanding of generalist social work practice, a commitment to social justice, and a commitment to collaborative and collegial work. â¢Demonstrated teaching/training experience at the university level. â¢Evidence of ability to engage students in classroom learning and professional/community service. â¢Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
