The Sociology Department at Rutgers University seeks to hire an Assistant Professor to perform research and teach undergraduate and graduate classes in the field of Sociology, focusing on the role of large-scale data and digital technologies within or across social and institutional domains. Candidate will be expected to apply understanding of mechanics of digital technologies and computational methods to perform research within substantive area of focus, particularly politics and/or culture. This is a tenure track position. Requires Ph.D. in Sociology.
