Posting Number: F00305P Department: Arts & Humanities Salary Range: Negotiable Pay Basis: Monthly Position Status: Academic Year Location: Richardson Job Description: The Historical Studies/History of Ideas program at The University of Texas at Dallas seeks well qualified lecturers for graduate and/or undergraduate courses for upcoming terms, including Spring and Summer of 2020. This includes all subject areas and chronological periods in the traditions of historical studies. The School of Arts and Humanities engages faculty to teach primarily at the main campus, although some courses may be taught at other locations throughout the Metroplex. Courses are offered between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. and may include lecture, laboratory, seminar, and distance education formats, among others. Minimum Qualifications: An earned graduate degree appropriate to the academic discipline/topic and a record of productivity and professional achievement. Preferred Education and Experience: Earned PhD in History, Philosophy, or a closely related field. College-level teaching in an institution similar to UT Dallas is preferred.
