Responsibilities: The Zolberg Institute on Migration and Mobility, as part of The New School, is pleased to announce a post-doctoral fellowship for the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 academic years. This is an ideal opportunity for recent Ph.D. graduates to join a leading teaching, research, and policy institute on migration and mobility studies in New York City. The Fellow will be expected to participate in the Institute's activities, and will teach two courses during each academic year (four courses total). The Fellow will also contribute to the Institute's facilitation of public engagement with academics, policy makers, activists and artists as related to migration and mobility. The Fellow is expected to be in residence on campus in New York City, contingent on the status of the COVID-19 pandemic and university policies as well as those of New York State and New York City. A remote option may be offered for part of the appointment, as needed. The Fellow will receive a competitive salary and benefits for two years, and opportunities to work with leading migration experts and scholars as part of the Zolberg Institute's intellectual community.
