Context and Philosophy Friends School of Baltimore is seeking a full time Upper School Science Teacher to teach ecology, environmental science, biology, and possibly a field course elective, to begin in August 2021. Candidates with a field naturalist background who are comfortable leading students on trips to engage in local field ecology, both on and off campus and who have a strong background in biology are especially suited for this role. Experience using technology in the classroom and teaching in an online or blended learning environment are preferred. Candidates should feel comfortable collaborating with colleagues and providing a diversity of assessment techniques. All Upper School teachers participate in the full program of an independent school in addition to their classroom responsibilities. Responsibilities:
