Germantown Academy, located in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, is seeking qualified, experienced candidates for the position of Dean of Students, beginning July 2021. This is an 11-month position which offers an excellent array of benefits and a highly competitive salary.?The Academy, founded in 1759, is a non-sectarian, coeducational, college preparatory school of more than 1,100 students in Grades PK-12, located in the northwest suburbs of Philadelphia on a campus of 126 acres. Position Purpose: Reporting to the Head of Upper School, the Upper School Dean of Students will facilitate the evolution of a holistic and future-oriented curriculum dedicated to the socio-emotional growth and well-being of Upper School students at Germantown Academy. The Upper School Dean of Students will work to envision and facilitate integration and delivery of co-curricular programming dedicated to this aim, helping to ensure that the division sets the standard for what post-2020 education can and should offer teenagers.
