Instructional Technologist, Center for Teaching

The Instructional Technologist at the Center for Teaching (CFT) will support faculty, staff, and students using Brightspace, Vanderbilt's campus-wide course management system, and related online learning platforms. The Instructional Technologist will report to the CFT's Assistant Director for Educational Technology as part of the CFT's Brightspace support team, working collaboratively with CFT staff and others involved in supporting teaching at the university. The CFT was founded in 1986 and currently has thirteen full-time staff positions, as well as four graduate student fellows. The CFT offers a variety of professional development programs and opportunities for faculty and graduate students at Vanderbilt, and CFT senior staff have excellent relationships with individual instructors and with departments, programs, and schools.
