Germantown Academy, located in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, is seeking qualified, experienced candidates for a full-time position of Upper School Mathematics Teacher to start in August 2021. This is a 10-month position which offers an excellent array of benefits and a highly competitive salary. The Academy, founded in 1759, is a non-sectarian, coeducational, college preparatory school of more than 1,100 students in Grades PK-12, located in the northwest suburbs of Philadelphia on a campus of 126 acres. - Minimum of 2 years teaching Mathematics at the high school level
- Ability to teach a range of Mathematic course to 9th through 12th grade students. These should include levels of Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, and Precalculus.
- Experience teaching Calculus is helpful but not required.
- Experience teaching Statistics is preferred.
- Ability to serve as an Advisor to 8-10 Upper School students
- Participation in Upper School life in meaningful ways outside the classroom (coaching, leading extracurriculars, etc.)
