Santa Fe Preparatory School seeks a Middle School History teacher who is eager to inspire students and join a professional, dynamic, and collaborative faculty. Primary job responsibilities include teaching 4-5 sections of history (with a focus on Global Studies in the eighth grade). In addition, all full-time teachers lead a community service group, participate in grade-level retreats at the beginning and end of the year, advise a student club, actively contribute as a member of a grade-level team, and serve as advisor to 6-10 students per year. Beginning August, 2021. Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree is required. A master’s degree and three years or more of teaching experience at the secondary school level is preferred. Preferred candidates will also have experience guiding/mentoring students outside the classroom.
