The Loomis Chaffee School announces a search for a full-time Economics Instructor to begin teaching in August of 2021. The preferred candidate has a minimum of three years of teaching experience, the ability to teach college level Micro and Macroeconomics, and a willingness to teach and build curriculum for a diverse suite of electives in the discipline. Additional knowledge and experience teaching a second academic discipline is a plus. Candidates should show enthusiasm for collaboration and strive to ensure that diversity, equity, and inclusion are foundational to their curriculum and teaching.
Loomis Chaffee is a boarding school and in addition to teaching Economics, other responsibilities could include dormitory residence or association and participation in the afternoon program at the school in a manner commensurate with the candidate’s skills.
