Kent Place School is seeking an upper school history teacher with a passion for global understanding, communication, inquiry, and depth of content knowledge, particularly in world history. The ideal candidate should be an interdisciplinary thinker who employs a culturally responsive approach to pedagogy and who has the potential and expertise to teach a range of courses, historical thinking, and writing skills; experience at the Advanced Placement level, specifically in Economics a plus. Expectations for this position will include collaborating with colleagues, advising students and clubs, and participating in community events. Requirements: minimum three years History/Social Studies teaching experience; Master’s degree in academic field or in Teaching preferred.
