Job Description and Responsibilities Giddens School is looking for a creative, positive, and dynamic teacher to teach a multi-grade class and to be an active member of a collaborative teaching team. - Have deep knowledge of elementary content and pedagogy
- Have the ability to build a positive and inclusive classroom community
- Be a creative and strong team member; one who enjoys collaboration and views the work of teaching as public practice
- Be committed to working with Specialist and Extended Day Teachers in an effort to further connections for students and give collegial mentorship to others
- Be an advocate for social responsibility through a strong commitment to academics and social-emotional growth for all students
- View student’s families and the greater community as partners in education and value the contributions they can provide
- Have three or more years of experience teaching at elementary grade levels
