![]() Visiting Assistant Professor (Open Specialization) 2 Positions Psychological Science Description Position Details: Gustavus Adolphus College invites applications for two full-time, one-year positions of Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychological Science to begin September 1, 2021. Department Information: The Department of Psychological Science is a vibrant community committed to promoting psychology as a science both for the sake of gaining understanding and for the applications that may emerge as a consequence. For more information, see https://gustavus.edu/psychology/ Major/Essential Functions: The annual teaching assignment for one position is 7 courses (7/7 position) and for the second position is 5 courses (5/7 position). One of the courses taught will be a one-month January Term intensive course determined by the candidate and appropriate to the candidate's expertise. Primary teaching responsibilities will include basic and advanced courses in the candidate's specialty. Additional teaching responsibilities may include contributions to the departmental required courses, such as courses in general psychology and statistics and research methods.
