Haverford College invites applications for a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor position in East Asian Languages and Cultures (focus on Japan Studies and Visual Studies) for the 2021-2022 academic year beginning July 1, 2021.
The suitable candidate will be an expert in the visual culture or art history of Japan with established college-level classroom teaching experience. Teaching responsibilities in a five-course load will include courses at all levels of the curriculum, including within the area of the candidate’s specialization. Candidates for the position should have a PhD in a relevant area in hand by May 15, 2021.
