Who We Are Le Sallay International Academy is an international middle school following blended learning model education: part online, part in-person. Forbes Magazine describes the Academy as “a pioneer in blended learning education for pre-teens.” The school is currently in its second year, and we anticipate that our growing student population will require more faculty in the 2021-22 academic year. Our in-person sessions (3 weeks, 4 times per year) usually take place in France. Our mission is to provide every student with an opportunity to develop their skills and learn to the best of their ability. Position Description The Communications Manager is a full-time, 12-month position reporting to the Director of Academy and is responsible for the coordination and execution of a comprehensive communications & public relations program for Le Sallay Academy. The Manager collaborates with other members of the team and school administrators to maintain brand consistency and promote the school’s mission and vision. The broad purpose of the communications program is to enhance the Academy’s profile and to deliver the Academy’s messages to its various constituencies (e.g., families, prospective families, past families, alumni, students, faculty, donors, and friends of the school). The communications program is considerably focused on recruitment, fundraising, and branding with respect to prospective and current families and framing a persuasive, consistent and exciting narrative for the Academy. This person will have boundless enthusiasm for the mission of the Academy and be a gifted storyteller, resourceful, and tech savvy. Strong oral, written and presentation communication skills required, as well as work experience in educational institutions as a communication & public relation specialist. Additional Salary Information: This is a full-time, non-exempt position, salary dependent on experience.
