TENURE-TRACKASSISTANTPROFESSOR in PSYCHOLOGY to teach at ETSU's branch campus in Sevier County, TN.
The ETSU Department of Psychology offers a cohort-based, bachelor's-degree-completion program on-site in Sevier County, TN. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching 8 courses per year on-site, including primarily upper-level but also some lower-level psychology courses needed for completing the ETSU bachelor's degree in psychology. The candidate is expected to recruit students from Walters State Community College (and elsewhere) in an effort to grow the program, as well as to provide advisement to prospective and enrolled psychology majors, and to stay connected with the ETSU main campus Department of Psychology.
The appointment will begin 8/15/21. The candidate will be invited to help develop tenure and promotion criteria for this predominantly teaching-focused position, which would be the only such position in the Department.
