Friends Select School is searching for an upper school history teacher. The position includes three sections of 11th Grade US History, 2 semester electives (the topics of these electives will be collaboratively decided by the US Director and the successful candidate) and the role of student advisor. Friends Select teachers use the city as an extension of their classrooms, cultivating relationships with city institutions to enhance their courses. Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of teaching experience required; additional coursework preferred. Experience and proficiency with online learning tools -- learning management systems, Zoom, Google, etc. -- is preferred.
