Midtown International School seeks a part-time secondary science teacher for the 2021-2022 academic year. MIS' Science Department incorporates problem-based learning into daily classroom instruction. The ideal candidate for this job could teach Physics and another science, such as Earth Science or Environmental Science. Science responsibilities would occur Monday-Thursday from 9-12pm. Opportunities to go full-time with an expanded teaching load are available based on other experience, training, and interests.
Candidates with experience and certification in Gifted Education are encouraged to apply.

*Maintains organized, well-planned, and thoroughly researched lesson plans that reach all learners. Clearly plans for and implements projects, problem-based learning opportunities, instructional technology, and incorporates resources from a variety of viewpoints and experts.
*Assesses students with appropriate measures, including performance assessments, process assessments, narratives, and rubrics.
