Adjunct Faculty - American Studies
The program in American Studies is seeking adjuncts to teach American Studies for the Classroom (with approximately 20 students). This course deliberately teaches social studies skills to teacher candidates. The course seeks to train teacher candidates to teach the difficult parts of history and society that are mandated but often ignored, like slavery and America’s involvement in the Holocaust. Therefore, a successful candidate must have an appropriate graduate degree and have experience teaching social studies.
