The Student Systems Analyst is part of the Office of the University Registrar's Services Team at Vanderbilt University and is a key individual contributor responsible for managing the curriculum changes for Vanderbilt's colleges and schools. This position coordinates the activities related to the curriculum in the student information system and various ancillary systems, in addition to managing the daily responsibilities for the course and teaching evaluation process and system for the Office of the University Registrar. Reporting directly to the Senior Assistant University Registrar on the Services Team, the Student Systems Analyst collaborates frequently with campus partners across the university.
The Student Systems Analyst will ensure that course updates meet curricular standards and enter course updates into the student information system. This role is responsible for accurately recording curriculum information in the central student information system, maintaining database elements with accuracy and completeness. The Student Systems Analyst will also provide robust support for the schools and the Office of the University Registrar in the utilization of the course and teaching evaluation system. Additionally, this position will provide support for the academic scheduling process as part of the Services Team.

Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure that course updates meet curricular standards (course doesn't already exist, course number is within numbering scheme, etc.) and enter course updates into PeopleSoft Catalog.
Accurately record curriculum information in the central student information system, maintaining database elements with accuracy and completeness.
Monitor academic scheduling inbox for course update requests.
Responsible for building and testing pre-requisites, co-requisites, and anti-requisites.
Serve as first point of contact for curriculum-related questions.
Managing the daily responsibilities for the course and teaching evaluation process and system.
Develop and enforce content management and operational calendar for all schools for the course and teaching evaluation system.
Provide support for the academic scheduling across all schools.
Assist co-workers in other areas of the office during peak times.
Other duties as assigned
A bachelor's degree is necessary.
At least two years of relevant professional experience is necessary.
Experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions is preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is preferred.
