Major Duties: - Spend time mentoring other faculty to advance their research, and collective research initiatives within each community location (Benton Harbor, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo).- Actively convene collaborative relationships with each faculty member on advancing individual and collective research in social work, and sharing of technical and methodological expertise.- Advance team-based external funding proposal development and management to include each faculty and students.- Support community-engaged or translational research in collaboration with organizations and community groups.

Minimum Qualifications: - Master of Social Work from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited program, and doctorate in social work or a related field.- Strong background in social work research, with diversity in methods and content areas, and expertise in research mentorship.- Established track record in successful external funding with colleagues.- Eligibility for associate or full professor rank.- Strong understanding of team development, communication, and leadership best practices.- Experience in being an active part of a diverse and inclusive group of faculty, staff, and student leaders, focused on advancing social, economic, and environmental justice through social work practice, teaching, and scholarship.
