Assistant Professor, Cultural Anthropology
The Department of Anthropology at Vanderbilt University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor who conducts research on Latinx migration, with a focus on Latinx children and youth. We are open to applicants working with migrants from any region of Latin America and/or the Caribbean. Diverse and innovative theoretical perspectives are encouraged, especially those engaging critical childhood studies, critical border studies, or critical work on race and gender. While we are open to candidates studying Latin American/Caribbean migration in any area of the USA, we specifically encourage candidates working in the southern United States.
