Description of Work:
The Reflective Practice Outreach and Training Specialist will support the Nebraska Center on Reflective Practice (NCRP), which is one of NRPVYC's primary projects. The NCRP provides training, mentoring, consultation, and evaluation to individuals and organizations in need of reflective practice. The NCRP utilizes the FAN model of reflective practice in partnership with Erikson Institute, and partners with Nebraska Children and Families Foundation, Nebraska Department of Education and Munroe Meyer Institute to train early childhood professionals, child welfare professionals and other populations. The Reflective Practice Outreach and Training Specialist will support the Reflective Practice Project Manager in training, consultation, professional partnerships, and outreach. The Reflective Practice Outreach and Training Specialist will be trained in the FAN model and will become a FAN Reflective Practice Trainer with the NCRP. Additional duties will include support of NRPVYC in a number of activities, which may include data management, other training and outreach, and strategic planning. Individuals trained in the FAN model are encouraged to apply. Travel in Nebraska and nationally may be required.
