Cornell University embraces diversity and seeks candidates who will contribute to a climate that supports students, faculty and staff of all identities and backgrounds. We strongly encourage individuals from underrepresented and/or marginalized identities to apply.
As part of the university's comprehensive vaccination program, all Cornell employees are required to have and provide proof of an FDA-or WHO-authorized or approved COVID-19 vaccine or have obtained a university-approved disability/medical or religious exemption, regardless of their role and work location.
New hires are required to provide documentation showing full vaccination status (that is, completion of two shots of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine or one shot of the Janssen/Johnson & Johnson) before their first day of work. If a new hire's vaccination is not complete or information is not received by their start date, the first day of work will be delayed. It is possible in some cases that an offer of employment may be withdrawn.

College of Agriculture and Life Sciences
Ithaca, NY
Who We Are:
The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) is a pioneer of purpose-driven science and home to Cornell University's second largest population of students, faculty and staff. We work across disciplines to tackle the challenges of our time through world-renowned research, education and outreach. The questions we probe and the answers we seek focus on three overlapping concerns: natural and human systems; food, energy and environmental resources; and social, physical and economic well-being. CALS is fundamentally invested in improving the lives of people, their environments and their communities both in New York state and around the world.
Entrepreneurship at Cornell (EaC) is a university-wide program that energizes Cornell's entrepreneurship ecosystem. We run a lot of our own programming activities -- like big conferences, hackathons, internship and mentorship programs, webinars, a business accelerator, and wonderful co-working spaces and competitions -- but we also support and amplify all of the amazing entrepreneurship activity that is happening across our campus... and there is so much activity! Cornell is a special place for entrepreneurially-minded students, faculty, staff and alumni. We look forward to engaging with you.
Our goal is to broaden student participation in university programming. We organize 6 experiential learning events each academic year that expose students (undergrad through PhD) to entrepreneurship, innovation, and technology. These multifaceted events bring together students to form interdisciplinary teams to rapidly prototype solutions for real world problems. Using tenets of game theory, organizational behavior, and psychology we provide students a weekend of exploration and skills building in an environment of psychological safety.
For the past eight years these events have impacted thousands of students, we have seen the positive outcomes that result from participation. Students start companies, re-ignite their curiosity for the world around them, discover the career path they want to pursue. Students make valuable connections to faculty and employers. By interacting with others from different backgrounds, nationalities, degrees, majors, and socioeconomics; our students recognize and appreciate the value of diversity.
