Heritage Hall, an independent day school of 950 students in Oklahoma City, seeks a Middle School (7th grade) American History teacher. The candidate should have a demonstrated passion for teaching middle school students and a compelling knowledge of the subject matter. The ideal candidate is bright, possesses a growth mindset, and is creative with regards to lesson planning. The candidate may teach up to five sections including one elective course. Salary commensurate with experience and competitive with area standards. Advanced degree preferred but not required.

Teaching experience is preferred, but not required.  General fluency with technology, knowledge of current pedagogy is recommended.  As part of a school, the candidate should possess a demonstrated interest in making a positive impact on the lives and learning of adolescents, and an eagerness to work within a diverse student body in a Positive Education informed learning environment.
