The Dance Department at Davidson College invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in Dance, beginning July 1, 2023. Applicants should have a terminal degree (MFA or PhD), a demonstrated commitment to undergraduate pedagogy, and a desire to teach dance practices and Dance Studies in a liberal arts environment. We seek a dance scholar/practitioner with a dynamic physical practice and an active creative/research agenda, who will bring new courses into our curricular offerings and collaborate with faculty and students in expanding our vibrant campus dance community.
