POSITION:
St. Mary’s University is excited to be developing a new academic opportunity in Entrepreneurship and Social Responsibility (ESR) and is looking for a visionary instructor and scholar who will help make it one of Alberta’s premier interdisciplinary degree programs. We invite applications for a full-time, tenure- track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, starting no later than July 1, 2023. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to the intersection of business and the liberal arts, with a disciplinary background in business management, economics, sustainability studies or other related academic fields. The successful candidate will teach some of our existing management and economics courses but will also help build new course offerings that emphasize creating and sustaining socially-minded, ethically-grounded, and EDI (equity, diversity, inclusivity)-focused businesses.
St. Mary’s offers both research-teaching-service stream (3/3 teaching load) and teaching-service stream (4/4 teaching load) appointments, which may be negotiated by the successful candidate.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Instructing, assessing, and mentoring students in the program
• Developing courses, including Work-Integrated-Learning opportunities
• Contributing to ongoing development of the ESR program
• Engage in university committee and other service work
• Maintain a program of scholarship
COMPENSATION:
St. Mary's University offers a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits program. Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:
